五正行

[lang id =1028]五種正行 The five proper courses to ensure the bliss of the Pure Land:

(1) Intone the three sutras [lang id =1028]無量壽經, [lang id =1028]觀無量壽經, and [lang id =1028]阿彌陀經;

(2) meditate on the Pure Land;

(3) worship solely Amitābha;

(4) invoke his name; (5 ) extol and make offerings to him. Service of other Buddhas, etc., is styled [lang id =1028]五 ([lang id =1028]種) [lang id =1028]雜行.

淨土宗所立， 謂凡兼修他法者， 名為雜行， 若專修下列五法者， 名為正行， 即一、 專讀誦淨土三經， 名讀誦正行； 二， 專觀想極樂國莊嚴， 名觀察正行； 三、 專禮拜阿彌陀佛， 名禮拜正行； 四、 專稱念彌陀名號， 名稱名正行； 五、 專讚歎供養阿彌陀佛， 名讚歎供養正行。
